Figure 1. Counties left empty have no lawyer establishments at all, so the ratio is undefined rather than large. This is a market map, not a merit map, establishment counts do not distinguish a medical malpractice practice from a solo doing closings, and nothing here suggests where claims exist.

Florida counties where births most outrun local legal establishment density. A media-planning input, and nothing more than that.

The 2 counties carrying the volume

Osceola and Polk recorded 13,903 births between them in 2024, against 259 lawyer offices. That is 53.7 births per office across those 2 Florida counties, where the national median for counties with 500 or more births is 34.3.

Miami-Dade runs 7.2 births per lawyer office. The 2 counties above run 53.7. All 2 clear the median on their own, and they sit inside a 55.1 kilometre span, which makes them one Florida market rather than 2 separate ones.

Where families leave the county to deliver

24 of Florida's 67 counties recorded births in 2024 and contain no hospital confirmed to provide inpatient labour and delivery. Between them, 8,351 births. The largest are Flagler at 868, Nassau at 810 and Putnam at 800.

All 8,351 of those Florida births happened outside the county of residence, which puts the defendant facility outside the county you would target and the delivery record with a custodian somewhere else.

Clinical measures and legal measures are never joined on this site. Adverse-event rates describe medicine; litigation describes a legal process. Where both appear together it is to describe a market, not to suggest that one predicts the other.
